PRESS - "PRomoting European Social Economy Strategies and social entrepreneurship for inclusion of disadvantaged women in labour market". The PRESS project intends to contribute to the implementation of the strategy for the achievement of the objectives set by Europe 2020 in education, employment and social inclusion, and in Hungary to the implementation of the NATIONAL SOCIAL INCLUSION STRATEGY-EXTREME POVERTY, CHILD POVERTY, THE ROMA 2011-2020.

"PRomoting European Social Economy Strategies and social entrepreneurship for inclusion of disadvantaged women in labour market"

The target group is women in situation or at risk of social exclusion; particularly women of the Roma minority, whose rate of employment and qualification are very low.  The Social Economy and Social Entrepreneurship, in particular the Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISE) have proven to be an important and effective tool for development and social inclusion of disadvantaged groups in a path of C-VET.

The Hungarian National Agency approved the PRESS project’s final report. Moreover, the project received an excellent evaluation (99%) and is now considered as “best practice”.

Recently, "PRESS : PRomotion European Social economy Strategies and social entrepreneurship for inclusion of disavantaged women in labour market" project has been formally recognised as "Good Practice Example" by the European Commission and has been published on the Erasmus+ project results platform.

Objective

PRESS aims to promote, compare and disseminate contacts, best practices, methodologies used in EU for the inclusion of disadvantaged people among public and private social organizations of 6 different European countries, and to stimulate the development of Social Economy and Social Entrepreneurship and the importation of the WISE model in Hungary. The goal is the maximum involvement of political and administrative representatives of public entities and civil society organizations, to foster the collaboration which can bring a significant benefit both in terms of KnowHow that in the rational use of public resources.

TRANSNATIONAL PROJECT MEETING  - APRIL 25 - 27 - BUDAPEST, LAJOSMIZSE, NAGYBUGAC & KECSKEMÉT, HUNGARY

From 24th to 28th April, a last study visit was organized in Budapest, Hungary, in the framework of the PRESS Project. This last meeting of the project included visits to some Work Integration Social Enteprises (WISEs), visits to a social district, participation in round tables with local stakeholders, participation in a conference where innovative practices from countries such as Hungary, Italy and Belgium were presented, combining social inclusion and cultural heritage , among other activities.

STUDY VISIT - JANUARY 25 , 2018 - LIEGE, BELGIQUE

On 24th and  25th January,  PRESS Project gathered for a Study Visit in Liège with the objective of know and share knowledge about WISE in Belgium and European Union. In framework of this study visit, a Press project final conference was held.

CONFERENCE - Social Enterprise as part of an integrated approach to Roma Inclusion

SEPTEMBER 26, 2017 - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

In September, the Salvation Army invited Aurélie Duprés, ENSIE policy officer, to share the network experience and recommendations about integration of Roma communities through Social Enterprises. This was the occasion to share the findings of the PRESS project partners on the topic and to learn from other experiences around Europe.
