Western Balkans Working Group Meeting

ENSIE’s work in the Western Balkans focuses on supporting the development and recognition of Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs) as key actors in fostering social inclusion, employment, and sustainable development. Through partnerships with local stakeholders and regional networks, ENSIE provides capacity-building, advocacy, and policy support to strengthen the WISE ecosystem. The network works to align national frameworks with EU social economy policies, promote good practices, and enhance cross-border cooperation. These efforts aim to create inclusive labour markets, support vulnerable groups, and contribute to the Western Balkans alignment with the EU policy frameworks.

ENSIE’s WB working group involves representatives from Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, North Macedonia.

The session aims to strengthen coordination and information sharing between ENSIE and stakeholders in the Western Balkans by providing policy updates, outlining future activities, and identifying local needs to better support Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs) in the region.
