ENSIE was delighted to participate on the 26th and 27th June, to a conference in Geneva in the framework of the United Nations Workgroup on Social and Solidarity Economy (UNTFSSE), on the role of social and solidarity economy in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. This conference resulted from a Call for Papers on “Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals: What Role for Social and Solidarity Economy?” launched by the UNTFSSE. It aimed to identify and mobilize research from different regions and territories in order to determine how SSE can contribute to the SDGs.

During the conference, we participated to various sessions, about good practices on women inclusion on labour market , the promotion of gender equality, the evolution of SSE in different local contexts; theories concepts and impact measurements; SSE as an Eco-Social Approach for the SDGs … We hope those inspiring exchange will boost the participation of SSEs in the completion of SDGs.
